Yep it is I again who wishes to say a few words about my day (hick) Wups. Found a good bottle of wine the other day. Guess I am a little tipsy right now…

Well today started with cleaning out the livingroom, almost literally… Had to get everything ready to get digital cable TV installed. That went really well, when she finally came to do it. The picture from that box rocks, I tell you! Well after playing with it for 3 hours and getting it all nice and sorted, I kind of got annoyed with the picture, now I could see how bad our old TV actually was… On the analog signal I couldn’t see it at all, but with the digital box, ewwww. Well one thing lead to the other and after a few hours, we found ourselves out at Bilka in Odense (Something like an overgrown wallmart). Continue reading Impulsiveness is a pain!…

Winter's breath

Sunday – the day after a wonderful evening with friends. Oh how great it was. I am still wondering why Ashley did not kick Terril and Tank in the balls for all their teasing, but who knows (hehe)

Today we woke up to a thick fog and freezing weather. Looking outside, everything was covered with this fine layer of white frost – it just looked enchanting with the little bits of sun coming through the fog and the slightly blue sky above. Continue reading Winter's breath…

A christmas adventure

As normal there’s a lot of activity on the shipping lanes over christmas, and for the workers at Kastrup airport, there were plenty of cargo planes to load and unload at break neck speed. There were boxes and mail packages of all sorts and sizes, zipping between the holds of planes and the funny little trucks built just to fit in the nooks and crannies of the airfield; one of these was scurrying along with the comical whine of its electric motor while the driver’s teeth chattered against the freezing temperatures on the tarmac. Linespeed upgrade

The 11th we got our ADSL line upgraded to 15/1Mbit, which should help quite a bit on upload for you guys. I hope we can get fiber next year, but so far no luck. Should help when we move, however.

Puppies and Christmas

What a lovely day it’s been. A lot has happened here, especially with me being busy working, but I’ve also had time to relax a bit with Angel and also go out to see my mom. She got a new puppy!

I’ve also gotten a new toy in a new mac mini and gotten ride of a lot of junk from my workshop.

Good news! I have finally been told what I am supposed  to be doing at my job with the library. Turns out that they only want me to update a webpage in the future. http://industrienaarup.dk. That should be easy enough to be honest. I’ll be putting up a CMS based on WordPress and simply use that. Will ease my job QUITE a bit ^^

Cats and cleaning.

Ahh. What a great day! Well except for the fact that I sleep a lot and I can’t really decide on when it’s day or night, heh. Well who cares. I am doing well!

Today we started with going down in town to see my dad’s grave. We bought a small decoration to put up there and just stood there, remembering the good times and halfway envying him that he’s going to the BEST birthday party in the universe in 24 days time! Lucky him, but at least we can celebrate here as well.

After that we headed down to get some breakfast from one of the local bakers. Good sandwiches but their pastry is not as good as at the other place. Oh well :) Continue reading Cats and cleaning….
