Thoughs on a dark night in fall…

Hmm… How to describe what is going on in my mind. I guess I’ve hit a low spot where nothing can excite me or even motivate me to do something. It’s a rather unpleasant thing to experience.

Well nothing bad is going on, except that everyone is talking about the economical recession. Seams like it’s overshadowing everything ells, but I can’t really get myself to be worried. Then again I have this nagging feeling in the back of my mind, that I should be. I don’t know… God is thankfully looking after us and things are not as bad here. Though I guess it’s time to save up for what might come?

It’s been a month like the rest. Fall is here, the days are getting shorter and the fireplace heats up the house nicely. It creates a nice relaxed feeling here. Jen is doing well too. We are relaxing and having fun with our pets. Though the past week, I’ve had a rather sore back from sitting in the wrong position, while I was assembling a computer. Note, get a desk to work at, instead of sitting on the floor. Beyond that, I’ve worked at the newspaper as always and had a bit of work at the library. Not terrible much, but a bit. Furpile and trains

Ah nice to be back home again after a few long days. Was kind of nice though :)

Went up to Aalborg to see Boo and a few other furs with another fur. First hurtle on the trip was a train trip of 3 hours – of which 2 were in a train with a LOT of kids >.< Thank GOD for headphones! Oh well managed to get online as well, but honestly I really need to get ride of my current cellphone. Data sharing with it sucks bigtime >.<

We finally arrived up there (with 2 suitcases, one bag and two backpacks) and ended up meeting a fellow fur who needed help with her computer. We ended up at her place, after almost getting crushed in the bus, because of all the luggage, but hey. We made it. SPend a few hours at her place, before the other furs could get there to pick us up – with all the stuff. Well Boo was happy to get her stuff when we got there, though the other furs we visited, who Boo is visiting, does not have a big flat, so had to put everything outside. Sides another fur also found his way up there, a kind but skittish fox. He’s really sweet and also whimpery in a cute way. He quickly ended up being the center of the attention and I am glad it’s a sturdy couch! We ended up tickling him and teasing him for most of the evening, until it was time to head back. I decided to take the fox’s offer and head back with him to sleep on his couch, since there were too many furs up at the other place already. Continue reading Furpile and trains…

Hectic days

Finally time to sit down and relax a bit and to let one’s thoughts wander.

It’s a hectic period that we’ve entered. I have a lot of stuff to do and it feels nice, though at times it can be a bit much. I’ve worked for the local newspaper a year now and they finally decided to put me on the staff payroll, so I am officially a part of the team now, even if I’m still payed pr hour I’m there, but hey. It’s better than messing around with payment for each time I’m there… But things down there could be better. My boss stopped smoking and has been cranky for a good 3 weeks because of it… He used to be so nice and relaxed. It’s putting a damper on the joy of working there, but I hope and pray that it’ll be over soon, so we all down there can start to relax again. Continue reading Hectic days…
