Oh and here are some advice. Be careful with how many times you try and login. If you make 3 wrong attempts, you will be banned for 15 min, so be patient. If this happens 3 times in a row, contact me so you can be removed from a permanent ban. It’s just to keep the malicious visitors from making too much mischief.
Just stopping by to say that nothing much is happening. The system is working and that decently well… Oh wait yes we are waiting for a dedicated fiber line and the possibility for IPv6 on the main server :D So stay tuned!
Well it’s been a busy week. Hurray for vacation! I finally get time to do some of the things on the test servers here, that I’ve been thinking about for ages… So here are the new things:
Read more…Well – this is rare, but we had a power outage here for the first time in ages! We were down for 1 hour, but all is back up again.

We now have a new server setup – again, this time on a nice little Fujitsu Siemens box, running Proxmox and on top of that, we have a few virtual servers, running debian 9.
Read more…It’s time to move to a new virtual machine, this time upgrading to Debian Stretch (9) and a pure PHP 7.0 system, finally banishing PHP 5.x.
But this means downtime. In this case it’ll be from Thursday 25th of January from 20:00 to midnight CET.

As some of you might have noticed, I run my own servers and help a few friends with hosting their pages and e-mail. To be honest, this is my playground where I can trying out new software, security features and other relevant things, before I throw it up on the live servers, I am responsible for, at my workplace.
And if you wonder why this looks suspiciously like my old webpage, it’s because it is. I gave up on trying to redo it. I simply can’t get something put together, that I feel satisfied with…
